Ranger Kids is the program for boys kindergarten to second grade. It teaches the basics (Motto, Code, and Pledges) while also giving the boys experiences and adventures based on their ages. A Ranger Kid learns what it means to be a Royal Ranger and how to work with other boys.  He will learn the sense of achievement and purpose through the advancement and Achievement Awards that are taught.  Most importantly, he will learn about God's love and purpose for his life.

In addition to these merit badges, Discovery Rangers earn merit badges based on individual books of the Bible. He will learn about organization and how to become a leader.  These will help him as he participates in a wide variety of outdoor adventures.

Adventure Rangers is for boys sixth through eighth grade.  This program focuses on expanding the skills learned as a Discovery Ranger. The merit badges (backpacking, canoeing, carpentry, etc) become more challenging, and the adventures become more exciting. There are expanded opportunities to develop leadership skills, through the Leadership Training Academy. Adventure Rangers can also choose to become involved in the Frontiersman Camping Fellowship program.
